Style.com Lookbook #4

Last week, I was honored by my "My Big Fat Bow" Lookbook. This week, my "Color be Purple" was featured. I can't believe it! 2 lookbooks in 2 weeks!
"Color me Purple" was my first lookbook ever made; so I'm very surprised that they would still choose lookbooks made last year. ;)
Christmas kisses
Christmas is almost here! I wish everybody a happy end of the year!
(excuse my rhyming)
Plaid jacket is from a warehouse for $5. White tights are my mom's. Black knit dress is from... a long time ago.
Why not...

The red dress that I am wearing here was found in a shopping bag in my garage. The dress was supposed to be donated along with some other clothes. I loved the print, the wooden buttons, and the vintagey sort of style, so I asked my mom if I could keep it, and she looked at me like Why in the world would she want to do with this sort of dress? (The dress was baggy and went down to my somewhat above my ankles. Let's just say the dress was fit for a "heavy" 80-year-old) But in the end she let me keep it.
I cinced the waist with a black belt (that you may not be able to see because of the layer of dress). The "borrowed" shoes are my mom's. The satchel (I found out what it was from a boy in my math class... o_0) I found lying in the shoe closet. The tights are from China (I think) or my mom's. Scarf is secondhand. And the jacket (which I adore, cause it looks like a motorcycle jacket, only it's not... really... and it has buttons on the shoulders. The zipper is assymetrical.) I got from Charlotte Russe (that was $9.99!/on sale!).
Wow. I'm a walking recycling bin.
Unlike others, I pride myself in finding good finds, that's cheap and affordable.
P.S. I know my grammar sucks here, and you'd probably have to read my blurb twice in order to understand what the heck I'm saying. But too lazy to check it over... :) Sorry!
